Osborne the producer of Face/Off, the original Matrix and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.Who is/are the writer/s?Kieran and Michele Mulroney who did rewrites on the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie vehicle Mr. & Mrs. Smith wrote the script and touch up's are being made by George Miller and his team.Will Brandon Routh and Christian Bale return as Superman and Batman?Bale is contracted to play Batman 3 times but that is for the solo series so he won't be in this, Brandon Routh has not been mentioned as being in the film either. Early in the project's history it was reported that it will be an independent continuity completely seperate from the Batman and Superman movie franchises and influenced more directly by the comic books. It is assumed that the Justice League is already established by this film so don't expect any elaborate origins just a lot of superhero action.How will this affect the Batman and Superman solo franchises?Contrary to what Batman-On-Film.com (who has a major agenda against a JLA movie) is reporting the Batman trilogy is planned to continue as scheduled. Bryan Singer's proposed Superman Returns sequel The Man of Steel on the other hand has been post poned indefinitely and Justice League has taken it's place as WB's tentpole film for 2009.Who has been cast?Casting calls are still underway at the moment a full cast is expected to be announced by year's end.Why is Warner Bros. moving along with this?There are 2 Harry Potter movies left, The Matrix has been over for years now and Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy is almost complete. This is being set up to be WB's next tentpole franchise and used as a launching point for spin-off movies starring heroes not named Batman & Superman. Which members have been confirmed? Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Green Lantern (John Stewart) were confirmed by the mainstream press as being the stars of the film. A recent leaked plot synopsis indicates that Aquaman is out and the Martian Manhunter has been written into the script though. Who are the villains? It has been rumored that Maxwell Lord and Talia Al' Ghul (daughter of Ra's) are the main antogonists. No Legion of Doom or White Martians yet. What is the story? A very reliable comic movie source has reported the following in terms of plot details -- Wonder Woman is portrayed as the member that acts as defacto humanitarian and face for the League. Our source told us that the best way to describe how she is written in the script is to "think of Angelina Jolie and her relations with foreign countries."-- Unbeknownst to the League Batman has a piece of technology that he developed called the "Redeye", a cool piece of hardware that he can use to spy unbeknownst on the other League members.
