Royal parks foundation half marathon

Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon

Join Team UNICEF in the Royal Parks Half Marathon, Sunday October 12th 2008! If you are up for the challenge of an Autumn half marathon in London, then this could be for you. As one of the four main charity partners involved in Central London's first half marathon, we have lots of places available for supporters! The route planned encompasses four central London Royal Parks. It starts and finishes in Hyde Park, taking in St James's Park, Green Park and Kensington Gardens along the way. Runners and spectators alike will have magnificent views of Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall. Running 13.1 miles won't seem so hard when you race through four beautiful Royal Parks, kicking a conker or two, darting past the ducks and admiring the legacy of King Henry VIII. It is set to be a fantastic event with a great atmosphere on the day for runners and spectators alike. We would love to welcome you to Team UNICEF. If you would like to take one of our charity places and fundraise for us, please download our registration form from by visiting www.unicef.org.uk/halfmarathonreg. We ask our runners to pledge to raise £550 for UNICEF and our Born Free from HIV campaign. Registration forms will need to be accompanied by a £40 registration fee (cheques should be made payable to UNICEF).
