Fedriaran: before rebirth iii

Watch Fedriaran: Before Rebirth III video clip

First of all, I would like to let everyone know how much time has gone in to this video: 1st: I spent several hours for four or five days in a row working on putting this actual movie together in vegas. Lets say 24 hours in total. 2nd: Rendered it out from sony vegas at the quality possable, taking almost exactly 3 hours. 3rd: I encoded it the first time for the higher quality download/ filefront stream, taking a total of 17 hours and 19 min. I looked in the megui log to calculate this. 4th: I realized the file size was too large for vimeo, so I started a second encode for a "medium quality" video. This took 20 hours and 33 min. 5th: Uploaded it to vimeo, which took about an hour. 6th: Uploaded the higher quality to filefront, taking, lets say 5 hours. This is a guess sense I was only at my computer for the first 2 hours of the upload I believe. Thats a calculated 70 hours and 52 min. So lets give it some leway and put it between 65 hours and 72 hours to complete this video. Now, there is a point to telling you this. PLEASE look at how much effort has gone in to this video and RESPECT that. I don't think thats an unreasonable thing to ask. Constructive criticism is helpful. Now, let's get started. My spec is 20/0/41 through this entire video More time than normal went in to the editing process for this video this time around. I wanted to create that same "clean" look, as I attempted to do with my second video, but I wanted it to be a bit more "flashy." In short, I wanted it to have a more visible artists touch too it. I learned a few new things when creating this video. First, I learned how too use WoW model viewer correctly, how to bring the recordings from that in to Sony Vegas and to use the chroma keyer to inbed them in the video. I didn't do anything to fancy, but I'm still pretty happy with what I was able to accomplish with this. I also realized that I had made a few mistakes when doing the encoding, which I corrected to get the results that I've always wanted. Hopefully the quality is satisfactory, considering the fact that I don't have the best of video cards or the best computer. As a side note; though the footage I record is running at 30 frames per second, I get between 10 and 20 fps in game when recording with fraps. This can make it sort of difficult to play at times. Also, I figured out why the audio came out slightly wrong in my second video and I made sure to not make that mistake again. I had an idea for the last third of the video, which I hope will be received as a creative and unique idea here on WarcraftMovies. I'm not going to give any hints as to what it is. You'll have to watch and find out for yourself. This video includes two short "world pvp" clips, which are almost impossible to get on a pve server. I'd walk around for hours in qual danas with pvp up and not get attacked. There are no arena clips in this video. I haven't been doing much arena, due to real life and lack of interest at the moment. I just recently transfered to Hydraxis to be with some buddies and I have yet to find a new partner. My old partner, Psychic, on Dalaran has been taking a 2-3 month break from WoW. Keep in mind...If you don't understand that rogues need cooldowns in difficult situations or against difficult opponents, then you probably won't like this video. I sometimes use cooldowns when they more than likely aren't even necessary, just for the fun, or if a hasty kill is required in the situation that I'm in. Consider the gear I'm wearing in the last portion of the video before you comment on cooldowns used there as well. Music: Apocalyptica - Quutamo Dragonforce - Through the fire and flames (Miche Remix) by Tossisen 30 Seconds to Mars- A Beautiful Lie Sonic Syndicate- Enclave Apocalyptica- Hope Apocalyptica- No Education The Hi-fi Horizon- Far From Somewhere (Intro cut) Sense no one knows who The Hi-Fi Horizon is, I will link them: myspace.com/thehifihorizon Those are some younger friends of mine that put a lot of time in to what they love, which I respect. This is my third time putting a song of theirs in my videos. Thats how much I love'em. Programs used are: Sony Vegas 8.0 Fraps 2.9.4 MeGUI Side note: there's a typo before the duel with Redisant. The score changed from 1-2 to 1-3 for just a second. This was a mistake. The score was really 1 win to his 2 wins.
