The Jackson Convention & Visitors Bureau (JCVB) is launching a new restaurant promotion, the Super City With Soul Bowl, at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. The Super City With Soul Bowl will challenge customers to dine out in Jackson from July 1-December 31, 2008, to win a super bowl party for 100 people at the Jackson Convention Complex worth $5,000. To play the Super City With Soul Bowl, customers must collect ten receipts, from restaurants within the Jackson city limits and mail the original receipts to the JCVB office with contact information included. These receipts can be of any value and must be dated between July 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008. For every ten receipts received by the JCVB, the patron will receive a Super City With Soul Bowl promotion number emailed to them and a chance to win up to 5 prizes. The grand prize is a super bowl party for 100 people at the new Jackson Convention Complex worth $5,000. Patrons will be encouraged to enter the competition multiple times to increase their winning potential. A grand prize drawing party will be held at the Mississippi TelCom Center on January 15, 2008. Restaurants also have a chance to win a prize for employees by spreading awareness of the promotion to patrons.
