Raoul Pugno (1852-1914): Chopin - Waltz in Ab op.34 no.1
Pugno took to concerting after his 40th birthday, but established himself as one of France's favourite pianists in the later nineteenth century. His taste, panache and verve are evident in all his recordings, all of which were made in 1903. This recording is of Chopin's Waltz in A flat op.34 no.1.
